The Spirig microscopes are about the size of a long and slender pack of cigarettes and made from high strength ABS plastic. They weight 125 gms (4 1/2 oz.); are self illuminated and provide a clear 30-power magnification (Spirig-30) or a clear 100 power magnification (Spirig-100) of any surface on which it is focused.
